Possibly Relocating to Rush, KY Area Boyd County

I live off exit 161 close to Carter Caves. It take me 30 minutes to get to work in Catlettsburg. I know of an awesome property in Carter Coty. Nice house with 58 acres I believe.

Possibly Relocating to Rush, KY Area Boyd County

I live in Carter county which is just west of Boyd county and I work in Catlettsburg. Most of the areas around Ashland is pretty good. Personally I would stay out of living in Ashland and try to find property. I do not have kids so I’m not positive on the school situation. Most of my coworkers...

Taking a trip to Moab UT in July

A good trail to hit in July is Holy Cross city trail in Colorado. It is just outside of Minturn. There are several nice places to camp close to the trail head. Moab will be hot in July but you will still have a good time.

    Vulcanizing a tire in Kentucky

What part of the state are you in? Porter’s tire in Olive Hill can do it. I’ve had them done there before.

    Simplifying

I'll admit the first post may have sounded a little gay but I think most people got what I was going for. I love wheelin', been doing it for right at 22 years now and I really don't see my self stopping anytime soon. I do however see a lot of the guys I competed with back in the early days of...

    Simplifying

Sometimes I get burnt out on building projects. I start thinking about ways to simplify the wheeling game. With a trail rig you have to load up and drive several hours to wheel. While I'm wheeling I'm having a blast, I guess it's just getting there sometimes. I have a LJ on 33's to just drive...

    Aluminum beadlocks

A guy on Facebook posted them up. BTR is doing a inventory reduction sale. The shop is King Off-road parts. 951-427-1897 quote author=pplblazerdude link=topic=56785.msg671960#msg671960 date=1502021301] Where did you find them for $225? The no steel inserts kinda scares me on those wheels...

    Aluminum beadlocks

I have ran several different aluminum beadlocks. I had good luck with KMC's and the are relatively cheap. The past few years I have ran Trailready's with zero problems. Never had a tire burp air and they are made in the USA. For my current build I just ordered some BTR's. They were on sale for...

4th gen Rams, are they good trucks?

I've had way to many trucks over the years. I've had 2 4th gens, a deleted 2012 and a bone stock 2015. I just sold my 2015 and went back to a 2004.5. I love a 3rd gen. The '15 was a great truck though. I had zero issues out of it and would buy another o e if I was in the market. I just prefer...

    Pocket knife

Here are a few of my Spyderco's. I don't have a problem with most of them staying sharp. I EDC my Para2. I have tried several times to find a knife that could replace it but I can't find one. I use either the Spyderco sharp maker or a Lanski. I have had several Benchmade's but they don't fit my...

Atlas support ring vs adapter mount?

I came out with the original Atlas support ring back in 2002 after I cracked 2 tranny cases. I always ran the tranny mount between the cases but after cracking cases I decided to support the rear of the t-case. At the next rock crawling comp several other guys had the same issue so I made them...

    Dedicated buggy trailer

It is kind of hard to believe but I have right at 3K in parts not including labor. I know Sonni was selling them for $3,000 15 years ago. I sold the YJ last week and I'm going to pick up a new project tomorrow that fits on this trailer also. So, if I sold it I would just have to build another...

    ERoCC flash back

Yes, several years ago when Mike was running the place after the XRRA races they opened up a few times a year as Rocky Top.

    Let's see the old stuff.

This was my first trip to Farmington in '99 for the Choke Cherry invitational. The traction amazed me.

    ERoCC flash back

I have a bunch of old pictures from Jellico. I'd have to take pictures of pictures to post them though. ERoCC had it right. I remember the comp that first picture was taken. Everyone was complaining that Ken was using unfair tires, Krawlers, so he swapped on the original mud terrains and still...

    Red Label Availability

Last August I got a set from Jackson for $498 per tire plus $10 shipping and tax. I'd like to order one for a spare.

    Bear wallow Hatfield and McCoy

If Logan is getting the rain we got an hour ago the trails should get a good wash down. It will be interesting to see what they look like then.
