for those who has ran goldendale, has there been many leaf spung rigs? and how have they done on the coarses? last year we went to spectate, and saw a bunch of leaf rigs,but never saw any run.... just curious. i wanna enter next year.

they arnt any more firm, but with an added main leaf, and because of the legth, and free arch, (most about 2" more than yjs) they do flex ALOT better

also you will have to do some major cutting to the rear corners to fit your stretch, im gonna "comp cut" mine. ive only have seen one yj that hasnt comp cut, but trimmed out the corners. he is on the pirate bbs under geberhard(i think)

dont have digi pics, i got no camera. i used the stock inboard mount, with the bluetorch bumper (it has the hangers welded on the very end of the bumper:cool: ), with stock xj springs from a 4 door, (the 2 door springs are more flat) with an extra main leaf cut from a j-10(thay are longer)...

i like the cool "A-TEAM" stripe on the hood and down the sides, ive been looking at 2003 to 2005 dodge dls 1 tons, its gotta be better than my 1971 dodge with 4wheel drum brakes

good idea, id be definatly in to it, a place to test/ tune your rig, and have fun at the same time, even have comps.

3 years ago my yk was 3942 lbs, stock axles(at the time)36s tsl bias, full cage,tirecarrier/bumper, with spare, warn upright winch, now i dont know the weight im guessing around 42/4300 lbs

i usually leave them in the jeep, when on a trail, if someone was stupid enough to take it, are they really gonna get that far?dont think so, but if im in a place that i dont know well or in an larger opening, ill take them out. but what alot of guys(with tj, toyotas,samis)dont like driving YJS...
