X2 on the soilder and heat shrink. I have never done a buggy But i helped my brother with wireing his bike, and I think that it turned out a lot cleaner and seems to hold up better.

I have never tried it but I would be very surprised if it was actually stronger than a weld on aluminum like they claim. There video does make it look very impressive though.

Finally got the old motor torn apart tonight. When we pulled the oil pan a couple little chunks of metal fell out and one that was about 5 inches long. Two rods were completley snapped. and there were some deep gouges on the crank. The rods put a couple holes in the oil baffle. But other than...

I am pretty sure thats what nutter did on his xj and it seems to work well.

If you run your ride height where it is in the last pic you D-line should clear the oil pan just fine.

You can do that but I recomend useing a battery isolater so if you kill one battery winching you can still strart your rig back up, also most isolators come with wireing instructions. I would recomend probably 2 guage or thicker wires.

Doesnt one of the smaller wires charge below a certain Rpm?

Didnt get any pics when it was stuck, but a 15,000 pound winch pulled it right out.

Tried a long breaker on the crank pulley, and it wouldnt turn over forwards, it would turn about a quarter turn backwards. Then it would only turn over forwards back to where it was. (with the plugs out) So I am pretty positive that the motor is shot.:mad: This might be a stupid question but...
