    Toyota t case gears

Just use the 4.7 with the front case in high.. It'll be about the same as doubled stock cases. Put your front case in low if you need deeper gears. But to answer your question, i thought it was too low and I stuck with dual stock cases in my other trucks.

    Alternative to nv4500??

Not sure, I'm assuming stock since this trans was pulled from a truck with a bad motor and put in place of my old trans (it stripped 1-3).. Far as power, I bought the truck from the shop foreman at mid south cummins in bham and he did a full rebuild. If memory serves correct, 350hp injectors...

    Alternative to nv4500??

Broke another nv4500 in my 96 dodge dually..I'm pretty sure the input shaft broke this time. I've done some research and read up on swapping in an eaton fuller and just wondering if anybody on here has first hand experience with this swap. My truck having 4.10s leaves a little to be desired on...

    Cheap Air Cooled VW's

DO NOT use keith Mitchell... you can get anything that keith might have offline and not have to chase him around and listen to him grunt. keith knows his stuff but hes burnt out. if your building a sleeper for the street, I would build a stroker motor... keep compression around 9.5:1 and keep...

    toyota lift ??

it could have.. the suspension on that truck was done by PO. That truck had a v6 with HD springs but switched back to 4 banger with one spring removed from the front to soften it up. it was in my mind that that was one issue but i didnt keep it long enough to get in To it So a 4" tg lift should...

    toyota lift ??

Hey guys, getting ready to start tinkering with an old toyota and i have a few questions about lifts. Im starting with an 81 long bed, it has what appears to be a three inch lift and 35s.. to say the least, this lift sucks!! No flex and it will beat you to pieces. Im wanting to change it out...

    Yota guys

there are too many good riding spots around the house and no where to park a truck and trailer, thats why its still halfway streetable... suspension is too soft to run highway speeds but i can run with traffic around town no problem :driving:

    Yota guys

buddy of mine runs 39.5 cut boggers on his yota and had to go back to 4.10 gears because he kept busting 5.29s... he has a doubler with a low range in the rear case, he just leaves the front case in low and goes to the doubler when things get ugly

    Yota guys

i run doubled stock cases with 5.29s in the diffs, turning 36s and really like it.. mine is a street/trail rig so the gear and tire combo works out pretty close to stock and does really well pulling high range :****: IMO a doubler is the only way to go just because of the broader gear range...
