    Dana 44 upgrade questions

I'm looking to upgrade my factory D44 in my TJ and was looking at this kit: http://www.rustysoffroad.com/ten-factory-super-44-kit.html Anyone ever run this kit or have any opinion on Ten Factory? Seems like a good price and comes with a Detroit or ARB locker. TJ is my DD and I take her out...

whats a good gravel road tire?

Goodyear wrangler MT/R. They have Kevlar sidewalls so really tough and good traction everywhere.

    What do you suggest?

I think I'm just going to spend the money and get adjustable control arms with johnny joints.

    What do you suggest?

You mean not rubber? Everything I see, it looks like Polyurethane is the way to go.

    What do you suggest?

Found the Culprit and it turned out to be the control arm bushing like everyone told me, making noise. So what do you suggest for aftermarket bushings? I'm not looking to replace the control arms all together, that gets expensive. I'm looking at the Energy Suspension Control Arm Bushing Sets...

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

Luckily I have more than one DD so I'm not driving it at the moment. I'm going to have it looked at today. (Don't have garage space to do it myself unfortunately)

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

So I've noticed if I'm real easy on letting the clutch out and the rpms are low that it won't make the popping noise. I have no vibration anywhere and the rearend isn't making any noise. Also no play from the drive shaft. So I can eliminate the u-joints and rearend. The control arm bushing do...

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

It does it in 2-wheel just under normal driving conditions. Haven't even put the jeep in 4-wheel yet, I've only had it for a week.

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

Not getting any vibration and if I'm really light on the peddle and if I let the clutch out really slow, I don't get the popping sound. No noise coming from the rearend either so I don't think it's that.

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

Actually I'd say it's a popping sound more than clunking

    Bad u-joints or rear end?

I just picked up this 04 wrangler, 4.0l, 5 speed with 83k miles, 4 inch lift with 33s from my father in law. I've had it for about a week and I've noticed when shifting I get a clunking noise. It happens mostly when pressing the clutch in, up shifting and accelerating. It will do it if I push...

    Tires

Getting close to buying a new set of tires and I'm split. They're going on my TJ that is daily driven and doesn't see the trail as much as I'd like too. I have a set of 32 12.50 15 Hankook Dynapro MT's on there now and I really like them. Why not go back if you like them? Well I'm leaning...

How much are you selling the kits for?

    Ford 8.8 Swap

It's limited slip now. I'm going to do a ARB when money get's a little looser lol but sick of waiting to have some fun as I'm scared to wheel with the weak D35 out back. So figured throw a rebuilt track lock in as they're cheap and throw it in and do the ulitmate 88 kit and ARB later.
