    JK gearing advice

In case anyone else has this question one day, here is an update: I ended up with 5.13's. I like having the power back and enjoy not having it downshift all the time, but I am still getting used to driving slower. If I had a longer commute to work or planned to travel further distances with...

    JK gearing advice

I have a 4 door JK with 35's. (3.6L with auto trans). Don't wheel it and don't tow anything, so I'm not considering that into the equation. That said, anyone have any real world experience they'd care to share? I know what all the charts recommend but I'm curious what people are actually running.

    Fuel Cells

RCI sells a tank with a plastic liner specifically for off road. My aluminum one cracked a couple yrs ago like most everyone else's does. When I called for warranty I upgraded to their new one. Same size as the 2161.

    Hand brake for digs

I had one on my jeep (aw4 and dana 300) installed in-line on rear brake line only. When pulled by hand, no pedal input required. Not saying this is the correct set up, but it worked. That said, I very rarely used it so I removed it.

    Coil over spring rates

I agree. If you have not already, contact Accutune. I also agree the rates you mentioned seem high. I have a similar set up as you do. At one point I had 150/200, changed rates about 3 different times, then I finally got in touch with someone (RYAN) who helped so I could quit guessing. Here...

    2004 chevy silverado head lights

Agree. I did the diodes, added Sylvania ultra stars, and LED fog light bulbs off Amazon. All kinds of light at night.

    jeep yj trans swap

You really should consider the RAD design shifter. Literally 3 wires to mess with. Check this link, it gives more detail. I was going to use factory wiring also, and I'm glad I didn't. This was simple, clean, easy. http://www.radesignsproducts.com/tech.html

    jeep yj trans swap

I did mine about this time last year. The RADdesign is worth the cost. Great customer service also. I think it was 4 wires...maybe 3. Anyway, super easy and worth the time.

    Optima batteries

I believe so. I am under the assumption any AGM type battery can be mounted on the side. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    Optima batteries

You might look up East Penn batteries. We sell them at work for mining equipment. I called our rep and asked him if they have anything to compete against optima. He immediately said yes and gave me a part number and details. I just installed mine in December, so time will tell if they work. Here...

    Transfer case control module....(DD tech)

If I pull the fuse and let it sit 5 minutes, all modes of 4wd and auto 4wd function. Last time it went about a week before throwing dash indicator. Before that maybe 2 or 4 days. So I'm assuming that motor and actuator are both fine since they function. I read about modules failing internally...

    Transfer case control module....(DD tech)

Bumping this back up. With all the GM guys on here I have to think someone has changed one of these before.

    Transfer case control module....(DD tech)

I've got a 2005 Tahoe that I'm pretty sure needs the TCCM. I've replaced the dash switch already, and I can get it to work temporarily by pulling the fuse and "waking" up the module. My question...I've found some on eBay used, that match my part numbers exactly. I've read some threads that say...

    LS Running Issues (RESOLVED)

Re: LS Running Issues Zayne2427 on here had a similar issue at HPO one weekend. Sputtering at times, but sporadic. I can't recall the final resolution. I'm thinking fuel pump, but there may have been more. Have you checked fuel PSI yet?

    YJ Build...just a little different.

I didn't go back to check but I'm thinking you worked with Ryan@accutune. I have a YJ too, just not the light weight rig you do, but our spring rates are close, and I worked with Ryan at accutune on my tuning. That said, I'm running 200 psi on all 4 corners. I'm interested to see if the nitrogen...

    Aluminum Link Questions

As mentioned, 7075 is what you want. I got mine on ebay, from Industrial Metal sales. We buy steel and aluminum every day at work, and none of my vendors could get it at the prices shown on ebay. I was lucky to find an auction for the exact length I needed. They will give you the mill specs if...

    Electric Fan Jeep YJ

Thanks guys. I ended up with the cyclone fan also. The Amazon gift card I got for Christmas paid for it which was even better. Any benefit to mount as a pusher vs puller? I have my steering and trans coolers mocked up for behind the grill mounting with the fan as a puller.
