Most of these aftermarket self learning systems do use a wideband o2 sensor.

I have read that you have to get it very close and then the self learn will do alittle. I was hoping a group would have real world experance with some of these and chim in. Thanks for the input and keep it coming.

They dont make replacment parts for the truetrac, You need to find someone with a blown-up one with good parts for your. I am in the same boat in a truetrac for a ford 9", I need one side gear.

I think it is like a true trac

On my jeep with the tbi it has a wire by the fuel pump relay that you can put 12 volts to to run the pump, if you have that run the pump constant to see if it makes a differance. Maybe the fuel pressure is bleeding off and it is running out of fuel just for a couple of seconds.

Did you check the timing with the wire unhooked? Maybe check and see if the pump is getting juice when the key is in the start position. I lost a pump after Jamboree last year and it would make it start hard but it still ran good other than it would hesatate off idle.

I have see this quit a few times, I think on some of the pitman arms out there the taper is off and the nut bottoms out before the spline tightins all of the way. I make a washer that has a insdes id size that is bigger than the splines and tighten it down. This will push the arm onto the taper...
