    Flipping a NP205

I was afraid that was the answer. NW Fabworks sells the GM 203 to ford 205 adapter. I will need to find a Ford 205 though. I have the 203 but I am not sure it will bolt up to my TH400. I will call NW fabworks tommorrow and they should be able to answer everything.

I have been trying to find a definite answer to wether or not a np 205 can be flipped and ran upside down providing proper modifications are made. I have a 350/TH400/NP205 and want to run a Ford HP D60 all of which I have. I would like to run the 203/205 doubler with a ford case but I dont...

    Automtive Technician Tools

All great info. Unfortunatley yes a lube tech is what I wll be, but "entry level automotive technician" is a nice way to church it up.:flipoff: I talked with the shop owner today and she said that I am not required to start with a fully stocked tool box. They are pretty laid back there. She...

    Automtive Technician Tools

Thanks for the advice. I will admit that I have used Snap-on tools at my friends shop and I notice a big difference in quality. There prices are just to steep for this short time. Once my new career path starts I will just use the tools I buy at home. This really wont be a long time career...

    Revolving Shackles?

Leaf springs are great because there cheap, user friendly, and predictable. Revolvers will take away the predictability of your springs, when you least expect it...flop. I have seen one set break under full size rig. If you want the most flex from your springs, sell the revolvers and install...

    winch ropes

The only downside to rope is that it is not as tough as cable. I would go with the thicker rope, and carry an extra strap or rope for more length. Rope seems to fray much quicker than cable if used in an improper way. If you run an empty thimble I would at least carry a hook you can rig up...
