Yeah...that guy in the Dodge was just putting on chains when I saw him....and he was barely making progress after that. Must have gotten stuck just a few hundred yards from there....:haha:
Too bad about the tree....always go back if ya got your tag.
No...it was right off the road near the top. There was a small clearing where there was a fire still smoldering, some nice trees in that area.
I'm glad I was out early, as on the way down alot of the road was getting chewed up by all the heavy, stuck fullsizes....:haha:
Hey man...I amy go up there next weekend...either Fri or Sat. I usually have my son with me and no other rigs, so I take it fairly easy.
You and yer pals are more than welcomw to tag along.
We must of missed the road where everyone else was, or else we just were out first, as there was only one set of "fresh" tracks ahead of us....but we did get a nice tree WAYY up one of the roads...
Saw only a few rigs from the gas station on the way down.
I'll be up there @ 10:00 or so. Mostly to take the kids to play in the snow, but will most likely hit up a trail or two while there as well.
White 4Runner on 35's....
I will be up there sometime Saturday looking for snow for the kids to play in.
So if ya see a white 4Runner by a hill with kids sledding, that'd be me.:redneck:
Probably hit a trail or two as well.:awesomework:
I might be up for hitting Elbe sometime this weekend,as it fairly close for me.
My 4runner has completed the Busy in early spring on measly 35" BFG AT's and just a rear locker.....and lots of winching....haha!
Cool beans Crash...it's not often I get out to wheel, and when I do, it's usually just Mikey(my 3 yo. son) and myself....so we take it easy.
It'll be cool to wheel with a good sized group.:awesomework:
Have a head/rig count? Or better yet, "type" of rigs?
I don't wanna hold anyone up with my daily driven 'wheeler....I'll be driving it up and hopefully back home..haha!
