I haven't been on here chatting, or out there wheelin' for a while now .
I'm out of the loop.
Question. Is there any reason I could not head into Funny Rocks this weekend from the east side and do some wheelin'?
Closures? Snow? Fire? Zombie outbreak?
My kid just got his first wheeler, (Yota). We got up to there late afternoon, only saw one other rig on the trails all day. Got back to the main lot about 6:30 and the place was like a ghost town, so we called it a night. Too bad we missed everyone.
That save at the end was so much better to see first hand. The vid was awesome, but didn't do it justice. You had everyone cheering for you.:awesomework:
The last couple times I went into the old area I got kicked out once by a warden, and once by a cop. Last I heard there was no heat on the new "private, turning a blind eye" semi-secret area.
Guess I missed that one, but I got it done now...I have been busy with the effort to keep Obama from making Moab a National monument.http://www.change.org/petitions/president-barack-obama-do-not-designate-the-greater-canyonlands-area-a-national-monument
We shouldn't let anti ORV people dictate the definition of "harm and damage". Harm and damage by ORV's is just as much a myth as their definition of sustainability, and ecosystems.
Yup.
