    Bought an RTR axial...

    made my own steering links, had to lift the tie rod so it would clear the diff, made from 1/4 brake line, 6/32 all thread and some ends and balls I had already, also had to lift the servo plate 2mm to clear servo arm, could have gotten away with 1mm I think but works great!:cool:

    I just got my tq3 and receiver today! its all plugged in and was a HUGE improvement over the stocky pile! Only paid $19 new on ebay...woop woop!

    should i put the shocks further out on the axle or further in like I have them till i get new shocks, i have some other goodies I want to purchase before shocks, i want to get the "best":eeek: performance:haha: I can out of these, I really want a new esc first.

    here is the inboarded links, the antanna mount, the lower links ground down and flipped so the fat part is on the axle side instead of being at the chassis end, and my battery setup with plates. Oh, and me crawlin over my boy!

    wheel weights

    i use thick gauge solder wire, comes in 16 oz roll and is enough to do all four wheels. Just start and wrap it around your wheel nice and tite, tucker down in there and your done, about 5 or 6 bucks at ace. I think Im only running about 5 in the front and 3 in the back set. could be more I...

    Bought an RTR axial...

    Here are some pics of yesterdays run at ROCKY REACH DAM LOOKOUT...i have weighted my wheels, star cut the foam, truggied the stock body, and have some saddle pack batteries and plates and other goodies supposed to be here today. getting a 55turn motor from a friend hopefully today also.

    i got soft up front, and hard in the back with a spacer on the back let spring to help with the twist.

    Empty pocket ax build, many free/cheap mods Got this thing so I had a basic crawler since I wont be compin it...what are some "free" tweeks I can do...i installed the front locker already, and the new pinion gear, its pretty fun already, but I would like to soften up the suspension already...:D
