so, those retainer studs on the caliper shouldn't see a load. The caliper bottoms on the 2 vertical edges of the bracket and floats right and left on the pins. Need brackets that hold the caliper with about .100" to clearance or less.

X2 , I had some older weld on brackets on my xj , I ripped both sides off cause the pins was what was holding them, not the brackets. I use Ruffstuff brackets and have no issues.

That's the way they were, they fit pretty tight in the bracket.

Yep your right. Thats what I was going for. TSL, Bogger combo except in the Sticky Version. I think the Treps will be Nasty around here. Hopefully they will hold up better also. Plus I just like the way they look.
