15 States have filed a petition to secede from the United States

so you have to go to whitehouse DOT gov to fill out the signature for your states petition.

Does that strike anyone else as odd???

First, thats like the wolf guarding the henhouse. I wouldnt trust that they keep the numbers right or disclose the petion results.
Second, you have to give A LOT of personal information to "sign" the petitions. I guess so "they" have a good list to round you up with in the future as a traitor to their cause.

You only have to give your full name and email address. But that's enough to find you if they want you. Course, revolution never has been an anonymous proposition. It doesn't say much for your cause if you're not willing to put your name to it.

Sounds about right for a "government" petition...

I am very Republican in all thoughts, but in my opinion it does not matter who is the POTUS as long as we have politicians that are not willing to work with one another, we are screwed.

Guess they haven't ever heard of/understand the statement "United we stand, but divided we fall" :dunno:

I wasn't worried about putting my name on it. They already know who I am :****:

If you have a hunting license, carry permit, subscription to a hunting or shooting magazine, or you are on any of a number of forums they know who you are also. Remember also they have access to all you do on social media site including but not limited to your private messages. Also any and all private and/or business emails. Remember the patriot act that :afro: passed.

How cool would it be to stand at the border between the socialist states of obama and the United States of America and throw MIDDEL FANGERS :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: :flipgotcha: It's a nice fantasy, anyway.

I don't give a **** what state it was, let's say South Dakota for example:
If SD said they were ceceding tomorrow, with a promise to get back to the Constitution in its original meanings, belief in that everyone supports THEIRSELVES, and was VERY libertarian at heart, you know what? I'd be packing two uhauls headed to yankeeville ( :flipper: AllGoNoShow) to house-hunt and pass out resumes! **** that spook and **** anyone who stands for or even tolerates him without speaking up! :flipgotcha:

I sure dont like the :afro: in the whitehouse but with all these states that have signed so far how did the :afro: get voted in cause theres over half the country that want out can anyone explain. I bet if you ask it will be like last time I dont vote for the :afro: so how did he get reelected if no one voted for the :afro: but the :afro: :****:

In 59 divisions in Philadelphia, 195,000 (I think that number's correct) votes counted for Obama, there was not one single vote counted for Romney. :wtflol: Is your credibility strained yet? In St. Lucie county in Florida, a heavily democrat district, 141% of registered voters cast ballots. :****: No report yet on how many dead people voted in Chicago.

Texas has over 79,000 signatures... $1/ gallon gas sounds good but we would probably get f**cked over by the liberal black hole known as the city of Austin and end up with serious over population and high crime from the legalization/ naturalization of ALL illegal aliens. One can always hope that a bill like Arizona's SB 1070 or Oklahoma's HB 1804 would get put in place and run those f**kers off. Health care costs would be insanely LOW. The city of Houston ALONE spent almost a BILLION dollars on "free healthcare" in '09... who knows what that number is today.

The democrats have stratigically placed democratic voters up in apartments in the city/states where the electoral vote points are the highest. Then when election comes around they vote in that district and win all the points. Its all rigged. Like said above, no telling how many voters are dead but woke up to vote one last time.

Can't remember what article I was reading but they reported that on the Republican side, somewhere around 5 million less votes were cast than in the 2008 election. On the Democrat side, Obama received 3 million less votes than he did in 2008. Makes ya wonder what happened to these roughly 8 million votes and whether or not these people decided not to vote this time around.

In my opinion, the sensible people in this country are far outnumbered to the dumb dumbs out there.

Also makes me wonder how many people wasted their votes on third party candidates that had a snowballs chance in hell of winning anyway or were dumb enough to do a write in candidate such as this:

I don't like those gook bastards being as close as 5 miles off our coast drilling for OUR oil, let alone possibly putting a billion of 'em in Commiefornia with an army of God knows how many.

And now that I've calmed down from my previous post, I'll say cecession may be a viable option. Think about how jobs are flying south and the great white north is emptying out quicker than our country's wallet. If the original Confederate States banded together, and took what military assets are down here already, maintain the level of growth we have down here already, and set up a visa plan where we take in only 10,000 yankees a year (no foreigners), this sub-country would be the same as the America that boomed in the late 1800's. Here's something to chew on-

Here's the text of the Texas petition:

The U.S. continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government's neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the U.S. suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect its citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.

Great discussion.

How convenient you motherfuckers!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The White House may opt out of replying. Under its own rules, "To avoid the appearance of improper influence, the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government in its response to a petition.""

But all of this secession brings up in my opinion the root of money. Which states pay in more than they recieve back in benefit. Someone did the analysis already for the Economist
Read this....Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee been sucking hard on the .gov teet. And even as much as I hate that blathering state of Komifornia, they've been paying the piper as well.

So yes, I am very surprised to see a state like Mississippi being one of the first to try to leave the union. It would be highly detrimental to them, to the tune of $239billion between 1990-2009.

So all the states that have been paying in more than they've recieved are saying "Thank you Mississippi for getting off our benefits"

and no wonder Puerto Rico wants to become the 51st state. Motherfuckers milked the union for $291billion over that same time period. **** them!
