Since you mentioned it, that shock hoop sure does look to have a weld seam on it...

It does look that way in the picture i will investigate further. I have been wrong before. Wont be the last time.

Just went and looked and it is not hrew it is dom. 100%

Got Atlas and new transmission yesterday.
WOD hanger bearing came in.
Ordered new headers.

Pulled out drivetrain to move everything back.
