2002 24v Dodge Ram 3500 Hard Brake pedal

The Pedal is hard all the time. I believe it may be the hydro boost, power steering pump, a hose issue(blockage?) or a combination of.

Funds are tight so I a going to dig into this myself, any experiences with these issues/fixes will help a great deal. I know with all the dodges running around on here someoneis bound to have had this very issue.


Any advise/guidance is much appreciated.

Does it primarily happen only when rpm's are slower? How's the steering effort when the brakes go hard? My guess would be pump not producing the psi/volume needed to run both p/s and hydroboost...

It is always hard, as soon as it is torched off. Steering is a bit tight. I noticed the pump area is has a bit of fluid this morning. Suppose that is good place to start. Also ABS light comes on and off.
