My sister is having a dangerous electrical issue. It has the 5.7L Hemi in it and the factory In Dash Nav.
Anyway, while riding with her earlier tonight the head lights would randomly shut off and come back on. The dash lights would dim and go bright, or turn off whenever the head lights shut off.
I havent hooked a volt meter too it yet but i seriously doubt its an alternator or battery issue. The head lights dont dim, they just go off. The vehicle runs normal the whole time though, no loss of power or stuttering.
Im thinking it has a short somewhere around the head light switch in the steering console.
Windshield wipers function fine the whole time however the variable speed doesnt work. which could be a computer issue i assume.
Whats your guys thoughts?
