2012 rzr4 800s blown motor

I got an 800 with 31 hours on it. no mud no rocks just mild trails . the motor just exploded, no warning no noises nothing. rod broke in the middle and came out the block and broke the starter off went back in and came out the bottom. was going down the highway at 40 mph at steady speed and bam. Has anybody else had any problems like this?

got 2014 motor on the way i might sale it when i get it back together, dont trust em anymore

that's the first one I have ever heard do that. there is all ways a lemon in the bunch.

Usually when this happens it was due to hydrolocking the motor previously. The rod gets strained and weakened and turns loose later. I dont know if this is your case or not but ive read of it several times before on the rzr forums..

not the case here never been in the water
