thank you fro your help

If any of you would like to come on over and look to see what it really is and then tell me I'm wrong then great let me know and ill have you over.If I'm wrong then great you can tell me what it is then so I know. How is a guy to learn if all he gets **** from people he asks,I was told that this was a great to to get help and find people to wheel with, but just because I misspelled some **** and used wrong wording and told you all what I was told the truck had in it for gears you all have been no help.So with that i hope i have the chance to not put you or any of your peace of **** rigs out of the mud, (with any of the 4 gigs of mine):fawkdancesmiley::kissmybutt:

Thanks Shag!

:haha: Wheel the datsun, you'll never finish a new build. I would like to see a toyota with one ton gears and a 600hp motor working them. Take a video.

OK so now we are getting somewhere

So with that i hope i have the chance to not put you or any of your peace of **** rigs out of the mud, (with any of the 4 gigs of mine)

Thanks Shag!

Heck if we understood you had 4 GIGS we would have know you were talking about web wheeling, kinda like bench racing, but a lil dirtier!!!
We that we can send in some of the better web techs and you all can get to "wheelin":awesomework::cheer:

Ok now that you have had your fun ,will any of you tell me what I have to do to find out what gears are in the Alex's I have.whether it's in my jeep or my truck.
Or does anyone even know.

Thanks shag

There are three ways to tell what gears are in an axle.
1- look at the tag on the axle housing, or stamped into the housing
2- remove the cover (or gears) and count the teeth, divide to get the ratio
3- or approximate the ratio by jacking the axle off the ground, marking the tire with a marker, and then spinning the driveshaft and counting revolutions, divide the driveline revolutions by the tire revolutions.

Ill take "Goop" for $400, Alex. :awesomework:

The answer is, "#1 grease".

What is, "Franks favorite to **** his cousin with?" :haha:

Thank you!, I'll do that and then I will know what the actual gears are in the axle not Alex.but that was very funny one.lol

Not to pile on but if you don't know how to figure out what gears are in a rig, you shouldn't be building one. Get out your checkbook or debt card and pay someone. It will be easier, cheaper (in the long run) and safer. I don't want to have to pull your junk of the trail with "one of my four gigs".

So are you trying to find out what the gear ratio is in differential or what kind of Assembly is under it, like in a Dana 60?

59 , that's funny.ill upload pic today some time . I never thought about counting the rotation of the tires. Duh I remember that. Smoke to much pot I gess,
