5.3 swap

Been thinking on a 5.3 swap in my buggy. If I do then I will swap out intake for carb intake and run my Fitech fuel injection. The motor I found does not come with the harness. What all will I need to do this swap?

This is what I used to run propane on my 6.0. It's made to convert an LS to a carb. I'd think it would work for you. Real easy to hook up if.

In my humble opinion your killing what's great about the LS by doing away with the LS harness and injection
I've ran truck avengers I've ran pane. I've watched everyone fight Holley efi. And LS injection is hands down best thing I've ever run. Find a harness and never look back

Might as well keep a sbc if your not gonna run the gm efi , Matt call around the junk yard. Creasy on 43 had the best price. I got my 08 5.3, harness, computer, all the accessory, even the gas pedal and manifolds for $750

Ditto, sell the fitech and rock out with the factory stuff. Plus you'll save yourself lots of headaches trying to re engineer the wheel

For about $800 you can get a standalone harness plus a flashed ecu.

I don't even have an LS motor and there is no way I'd swap into one without the EFI. I'd just keep my trainwreck Edelbrock.
