I have dropped a Glock in mud, and gravel .Then picked it up and shot it.
I worked at a gunshop of my bro-in-laws for a while about 20 yrs ago. We had a prodeal with Glock that stated we did not clean the firearms they lent to us for our indoor range rentals.
Never cleaned. We utilized FMJ only.
I shot the model 21 .45 in scenario shooting trials, and never had a "gun" problem. It was always user error.
I currently like my model 22 40cal. It is second generation beauty. Was a LE firearm that I picked up used.It had been taken to the local Glock shoot every year , and had its small parts replaced for free, as well as being inspected by Glock factory Armorers.
It shoots straight as an arrow. It has Trijicon night sights on it. It's sexy overall.
I believe in these pistols because I have seen them through hard use, Have friends(that shoot semi-pro) that have not cleaned them for thousands and thousands of rounds, and never heard of one failing in an emergency.
That being said, Carry pistols are like shoes. If they do not fit
YOU, you are not going to want to wear them.....
Pick up a bunch of 9's.Which one fits your abnormally large hands?
:fawkdancesmiley:, and is small enough for you to want to carry.
cheers
