No body was ill prepared, gay, or retarded on the show. You're just pissed because they can't fit a 48 hr shoot all into 42 minutes of useful footage for each episode.:corn:
 
Watching it right now on demand.... I hope it's just the editing, but it almost doesn't look like any of these guys have really wheeled before, some of the stuff they are freaking over is almost normal one terrain, set they are acting like they have never seen it before.

Entertaing so far.
 
Starting to think that other than Carl and Rob, most of these guys either got there rigs just for this comp or only got them recently. Beside the way they talk about them, the rigs just don't seem to fit the people. And I don't think any of them have wheeled rocks.
 
why does it appear that they all don't air down for that soft surface crap. you'd think you would run real low psi in that.
 
I think this show depicts what you see on the trail on any given day. That being said the rover guy is a total jackass whiny ass little biatch, and the stoner looking 4 runner guys didn't come prepaired at all. Pretty interesting show tho, not very high tech but real world wheeling none the less.
 
Saw it last night for the first time, the wife and I laughed alot at the back woods smart four wheelers :haha:

I don't dissagree, although I would expect a slightly different level for a multi-day, 1000 mile or so "race/excursion. I'd sure bring more than one spare tire and a spare tie-rod and just about any other part that I could fit and would be the end of my day.


Really hard to figure out what is really going on with all the editing. I ended last night at day 4 I think, were thing had to do a little 'mud bog' to get to camp, they made it look like it was right at the end (folks already there cheering other on), but then they show the brother/sister crew getting to the spot and its pouring down rain (no rain gear), yet not raining a drop with the guys cheering.

Some of the times don't make sense either. Like folks being nowhere near each other, yet finishing 14 seconds apart, yet the first finisher had obviously been there 10-20 minutes at least. And after 7-8 hours of trail running and "racing", unless we were right on each other, there is going to be MUCH more than 14 seconds between me and other guy.

But its entertaining, if not head-hurting. And they are cramming like 16 hours of wheeling and trail running in a 45 minute time slot, so A LOT has to give. Wonder if they get extra gas at each camp spot, no one looks like they are carrying a **** ton of extra fuel.
 
Fuel's covered by the show...:awesomework: They should let me run, I'd be cheep for fuel if I brought the Sami! :redneck:

Great, the show already has Toyota and a bonehead Rover guy. That's all it needs is a Samurai to top it off.:fawkdancesmiley::D

A bone stock, Unimog, would do wonders up there.

Of course, you couldn't find tires for one small enough to meet the rules.
