aluminum intake cleaning

Wondering what guys use to clean up aluminum intakes. Muratic acid? coil cleaner? any ideas

I've used oven cleaner in the past.:redneck:

Super clean or purple power works well to get the oil/grease off and anything with hydrofluoric will work to clean it down to the bare metal.

Use mag wheel cleaner. The kind that says, "DO NOT use on polished rims"
