Art Carr shifter cable

So I found this on the current project

I "think" the shifter is new but no idea how it was treated prior. So all the places I have looked for a replacement cable they all go off "cable length" and not what trans. Anybody know if the measurement is end to end of the cable (including threaded ends)?

Any insight would be cool..

Mine was 5' (which is standard) end to end w/o any attachments, with 1/4-28 threads and 3" of throw.

Pull the cable off and measure tip to tip. It's not like the cables come in 1" increments, they are 3, 4, 5 or 6 feet long etc.

Alot of cables have the ends come off as you posted the photo of.
I bond them on.

B&M cables work with those shifters also.

This is the one that comes with the shifter, you can buy them separate in 4,5,6,8,10,12,&15' lengths though.
