what size are the balljoints on a chevy late 70's suburban for the TRE's??? i need to order up a driver's side highsteer arm and want it pre-drilled so i don't have to mess with it. or is there a way to tell or rpart of it to measure to know exactly what size it is. thanks.

Who are you going to order your arm through? I ordered mine through Mad4wd, just told them what tie-rods I was going to use and they handled the rest.

BTW, the taper is 7*, but there are two different "sizes" (ending and starting size of the taper). I don't have the exact measurements off the top of my head, but the place you're ordering from should.

That's what I said when I ordered mine (well, I said 1 ton, but it's the same thing AFAIK), and they showed up with the right tapers for the tie-rod and drag link. Guess it depends on who you're ordering from, but I would imagine since that's one of the most popular applications for TRE's and custom steering, they'll know what you're talking about.
