we have been using the auto zone stuff for awhile, and now they changed it...and it sucks ass...the walmart **** sucks also...what kind do you use/like? does anybody use the refillable setup?

I only use non-chlorinated CRC. I buy about 8-10 cases when it's on sale at Napa for $1.98. I got tired of the ****ty house brand stuff. The 3M or Johansens are pretty good too.

We buy it by the drum and use a pressurized sprayer..

Yep, cheapest and IMHO best brake cleaner out there...M.O.S. (Motor Oil Supply) Non-Chlorinated is what I use with a Sure Shot can; haven't bought a can of brake cleaner in yrs...
You can buy cheaper cans(have one at work) and they work ok, but the difference in some of the parts used by them vs the SureShot brand. My next request will be for the real deal can...:awesomework:

That's $160-$200 bucks...or practically half a 55gal drum!!!
Hell, buying the 5 gallon buckets at napa is still cheaper than that! But try your oil supplier, they often have brake cleaner to sell as well...

Its hard to take a 55 gal drum with you on service calls...

I used sure shot cans and bulk drums at my last job. I hated it. The seal in the nozzle would leak all the time, had to fill 1gal jugs out of the drum to keep on my truck then constantly refilling the sure shot, having to fire up my compressor just to charge the can. The aerosol is way more convenient for my needs.

AutoZone brand was one of the better, a shame it changed!

Hmmm....the one I use now I have had for over 10 yrs, and the only isssue I have had was the nozzle would occasionally plug up. Other than that...
Maybe in your case it makes sense to have aerosol cans for service calls...:awesomework:

3M has 3 different ones last I checked. I use the green stripe to take stickers off the paint. I use red stripe to take the paint off! (had an accidental puddle on my tailgate I forgot about when I went for luch. Came back to bare metal!) Blue stripe isn't too bad either.
