Bridge closed??

When I turned into Carbonado just now on my way home, there was a bunch of signs, and a billboard (the programmable yellow light kind) that said "bridge closed ahead". The road was blocked right after Carbonado.

Anybody know anything? It wasn't there when I left this morning.

The signs this morning at Carbonado said "road closed do not enter", but the signs in Wilkeson and Burnett said "Carbon Bridge- weight Limit 7 tons".

I guess the point is, if you're planning to go up to Evans this weekend, you might want to check before you go.

From what I read today, one if the 4 footings for the bridge had pulled loose.

Went up today and it is open. There were no signs or anything that I saw.
