Had a bad tire on my trailer so today I changed it out. One of the studs broke off when I tried to remove the nut. 5 lug 3500lb axle...... I want to use the trailer this weekend and probably won't have time to fix it before then. Anyone have experience driving a car trailer with a stud missing? Logic tells me it should be fine but??????? Also what type of studs are these typically? Do they knock out the back side or are they threaded into the hub?
I don't want to lose a wheel...:corn:

So I unexpectedly had time to fix it today. For the benefit of others searching...... Yes it's a press fit stud, 1/2-20 by 1-7/8". Diameter of the knurl IIRC is 5/8" but if you do this just knock out a good stud and match it. Very easy job to do don't even have to take the wheel off from the hub..
