Did a little wrenching today to get the sammi ready for this weekend... ;-)

Found a few interesting things... Rear ring and pinion of course... But also a bad rear u-joint, missing bolts on the rear driveline connection, ripped left tcase mount from the frame, and a bent left rear shock! Lol

Here's some pics of the R&P... And a quick pic of the difference in a locker and open diff...

Can hardly wait to inflict more sammi carnage!! ;-)

All in all my repairs haven't been too spendy... Since getting into this hobby, here's my tally...

$2,000- sammi purchase
$1,300- tandem axle trailer
$450- ready welder
$400- warn 8274
$125- warn adaptor plate
$125- title/tabs
$120- rear brake pads, axle seals, misc fluids etc...
$80- 60" hi-lift
$70- left front axle, right rear axle, 3x left rear axles
$65- front axle complete minus brakes/hubs
$60- rear axle set
$50- front knuckle kits
$50- misc interior accessories
$40- birfield rings
$10- rear anti wrap bar accessories
$4,945 invested total
$???- cold tasty trail beverages

Repairs to date:
2x front left axles
1x rear left axle
1x rear ring and pinion
2x front knuckle seals
3x front inner axle seals
2x rear axle seals
1x rear brakes
4x fluids(2x rear diff, 1x front diff, 1x brake fluid top off)
3x de-beaded tires on the trails(plus 2x at home to clean beads)

Repairs needed:
1x rear driveline u-joint
1x rear shock
1x weld/fab t case mount to frame
1x weld hi-lift hanger to rear
1x misc nuts/bolts replaced
2x re-weld pull point rings to frame ends(took em off to mount winch)

Times on the trails:
3x walker valley
3x Reiter pit
2x elbe orv
2x top of the world(local logging roads/trails)

Kickin ass on the trails rockin 33's:
PRICELESS!!!
