changing/replacing tires

sure the redneck way, couple ounces of lead shot/bbs in each tire will balance them right up.

bubble balancers are cheap and will get you really close... and in the long run, close is all you need... if I remember right you wont "feel" 1/4oz of imbalance until around 140mph...

Harbor freight also, tire changer all in one stop shopping, walk out for 70-80 bucks and your set.

selective pricing is nothing new. When i worked at Firestone, if we were busy, it cost a lot to mount/balance tires someone brought in. If things were really slow we didn't charge very much. Basically, They didn't want to make people spending more money wait longer... Can't say i agree or disagree, but damn, that place was ruthless...
