Went up to copper creek today. There had been a small washout a month or two back that put a bunch of sandy like material across the road, no big deal, just looked kinda neat. Well, its a lot bigger now. Theres a couple feet of it on top of the two feet of snow where its at. And it runs probably 500 yards down the road. We were the first ones to see this as there were no tracks in it of feet or tire. We drove on top of it no problem though, almost easier then the wet snow thats there. Get up around the switch back just past the little pit on the right. You could look down and see the previos slide from before, it got a little bigger, but now theres another about 100 yards past that one that took out 1/4 of the road, its undermined the road a little too. There was ice hanging off the edge with two feet of snow on it that we were breaking off. Pretty neat looking, still passible right now, until it rains hard agian. I dont think its done yet.

Theres about two feet at that point. We turned around at the Christine turnoff because it was getting dark, theres 3+ feet there. Ice on top, break through and you go down the three feet to the ice on the bottom.

First thing you see, the stuff is a sand/clay stuff. Wierd texture, almost like kitty litter, furtilizer, or fine aquarium rock or something.

It also went across the road down the hill as far as you can see.

Go up the road a bit around the croner where that rock pit is at on the right, about 1/4 mile past the pit...

This is where the first slide was a month or two ago but it grew a little more

FS roads, no trails. Good place to run snow, thats about it.

Yup, Great for deep snow most of the time, and if you like dealing with people that have no business being up in the snow past their limits, Especially during the christmas tree hunting season.

Went up there on thursday.. its pretty crazy.. We made it to the bowl before lake christine.. Went thru the washouts full of snow.. Im pretty sure no one has gone past lake christine.
