I was wondering if someone would post driving directions to copper creek up past Elbe. I hear about it all the time and see pics of all the fun in the snow. Would like to plan a trip up there and play alittle with a couple friends.

Go past Elbe, a little past Skate creek road is a gravel road on the left. Guaranteed to be dipshits up there every weekend.

Another one that used to be good was to go up the FS road at the end of Pleasant Valley road by Alder lake. I hear it is all slid out and impassable now though.

My family and I were up there Friday to let the kids play in the snow and we were the only ones there. I'm sure it was a fluke because I have seen a ton if idiots up there.

Another place to go play in that area is High Rock. It is off of Skate Creek Road.

NLT already closed the bottom, wont be long before the bridge is removed for riparian zone rehabilitation.

Just an FYI for those wanting to join the circus, the road is straight ice right now, road claimed 4 trucks this weekend. Friend of mine had his truck bumped while parked by another rig and that was enough to send it sliding over the edge into the trees.

Nisqually Land Trust

They are backed by Tribal Casino money and they are buying up land all along rivers and streams then close it off to motorized use. They bought parcels on the Busywild Creek from the DNR. Everyone that uses this area should go to their website and see what they are doing.

Ok, Ya I remember when we were logging around Elbe the last few years they were out crawling around and "Inspecting" what we were doing as they said they are going to be buying the land. I thought it was BS as it is DNR land but they did it.
