I never got the subscription for XOM or CRAWL because I knew the magazine would end the way it did. I'de give it a shot this time, I know that once I see one come out I will.

(assuming the subscription isn't real expensive)

great news also, but my wife bought me a subscription for last christmas and i figure that money is gone? also wonder if it will be in more than 2 stores on the shelf,as it was a hunt to find one at a supermarket???

true but what do we expect? its a new company and new owners. I seriously doubt they will honor past subscriptions. that being said, I will still put out the $$ for this new ownership for my subscription.

More than likely they will honor it somehow but if they don't they don't. Cut back on fast food for a few days and you have the money for a subscription.

Its the point that people got fawked.It leaves a bad taste in there mouth.Mine subscription had just ended so I was fine.I still don't know if I will subscibe again.

So it sounds like all the old parties are out, with Brandon only hanging on as "creative consultant"?

Does that sound correct... I never got much into the who's who hierarchy of either mag, just what I've casualty read on the 'net.

With Ian on board however that does put some cred' to its resurrection. Goodluck either way, get a couple good mags out on time and I'll subscribe. I need some new reading room lit. :redneck:

I dont think it has anything to do with how much it is, I think it is the matter that of the two different subscriptions I have gotten, I have recieved 3 mags. I have read more of Pats mags then of the 3 that I recieved. I havent *****ed about it before now, but I will not be paying for more that I dont get.:rolleyes:
However, hey its only $20-25 bucks, I will let you go ahead and pay for another for me, that way when I dont get them its just Joops money I get to laugh about!:haha::haha:

I rent more than 20 bucks of beer a week. Once i know where to send it i will renew my sub.

Its the principal of the matter, if I pay for something I expect to get what I paid for.

I do, I could easily cover the $25 or whatever it is...not an issue of having money. But again why the hell should I pay for something twice. I don't honestly expect you to grasp this simple idea though.

Do you go to a resturant and pay for your dinner twice?

I see what your saying, but you gotta realize that this time Tim is out of the picture. Brandon has been busting his butt off to get this going again. I'm sure his first issue is going to be a lot of owe'ing people so there will probably be very little income for awhile. So it might be a little hard to honor paid subscriptions from the previous crawl. Just be patient. Buy them at the news stand if you prefer.

In all of this I have never heard what Tim did to destroy both mags? Anyone care to enlighten me?

Your money didnt go towards a subscription. It went to someone else. I think everything has been weeded out of the root problem and now the game is headed towards sucess...So long as they dont sell out to petersons.
