I am thinking looking at switching out my two piece axel for a solid axel in my dana 30 on my YJ.

I have broke to slide forks on my split axela and a steel fork is $65. If i can get a single axel for around the same price or a litle more, it would be worth it.

What type of rig should i look for to swap with?
What do they run price wise?

You need a shaft from any non-disco D30. Some XJ's, ZJ's, and all TJ's. You will also have to pull the carrier and install a different axle seal. The disco housings were never machined by the carrier for an axle tube seal, so it can be a hair tricky to install it straight, but not too difficult. The special seal number you need is a National 471763.
