even if it is not the current problem if you haven't done the egr delete yet you need to get it done asap! Also flush and change the coolant to the type recommended on the diesel forums and add a coolant filter.

Where are some places anybody would recommend to work on a Diesel, not really wanting to take it to Dealer! Having some issues it's a F250 6.0 if it matters!

Wondering if you had any luck?

My brother needs some work done. He took it to have the fuel system cleaned out/flushed. (said he had fungus in the system.)

Apparently, the shop has fawked up his head and an injector now and wants $5k to fix it....somehow. ('05 Dodge 5.9l)

yea i was at a ford dealership it sounds like the ficm or could be one of the injectors. the 6.0 does have some problems but overall the truck is great. just the damn emissions regulations and the coolant problems the best thing for the truck is the egr delete kit.
