Diff Relief Valve?

Does anyone know if the valve is a one way or flutter valve?

I am fairly certain I went thru some water/mud holes while the hose was off and "someone" mentioned they thought the valve was one way.

I have am 06 Rubicon with D44's

I think its supposed to be a one way but I've had water get into mine from there.

If you have a stock breather on an axle and it spends any time submerged chances are you will get water in it.

Raise your breathers to the buttom of your tub and you shouldn't have any more problems unless you aim for the really deep stuff--which I don't...

Its cheap to just open the plug and check, it would be kinda milky looking if you got water in it.
