im getting ready to build my cross over steering dragling only wanna build it once so this is waht im thinging

TRE's would be better, heims tend to make alittle noise. IMO

my box is a chev 2wd and it kinda needs to be a heim cuz im to :redneck: to get somethin else.......but other than noise their ok right?:flipoff:

Buy the more expensive chromoly hiems. The will last way longer and are not as noisy as the cheapo's. I ran them on my daily driver for 4 years. When they get obnoxious, just thread some new ones on.

I got some chunck of rebar you could use :flipoff:

Seriusly, I've seen a combination of rebar and plate on someones steering before:wtf:

As for the heims, I'd recommend not using them. If you have to then buy one grade higher than you think is necessary. I've seen too many of them wear quickly and actually fail in quite a spectacular way

Yup, I would find a 7/8th 18 threaded heim thats as expensive as you can buy and i can hook it up..If ya wanna go 3/4 threads you will need inserts and i can bore the drag link so you can weld em up no prob.
