Great work on the floors, does your leg rest on that hump in the drivers well? I have been putting off the drivers side firewall because its gonna suck.

Yeah, theres a piece of tubing that goes just over the driveshaft and the sheet metal is slightly recessed on the pedal side of that. My foot sits down in the notch and my leg does slightly rest on the hump.

And yes, fitting sheet metal in tight areas sucks. I understand why you left it for last.

Thanks again for the comments guys!

Yup, and if you sell Ginny and build another one, you'll get ANOTHER shirt.

Thanks man! I'm just gonna keep on doing it as a hobby / side job for a while and see where it goes.

Not much progress lately, I'm waiting on the driveshafts to come in so I can build the mount for the front carrier bearing, which is the last of the chassis fabwork before final welding.

I did get a few small things done like installing the Ultra Bell on the Powerglide and building a mount for the steering cooler.

I also found these tool tubes to fit behind the seat so I can carry a few tools. This is still a trail rig ya know..... ;D

Bump for an update! :woot:

Yup, been sanding this weekend and everything goes to the painter tomorrow. Floor pans and console are sprayed and should pick those up this week. It's slowly coming apart for final welding and powder.

No, it's on Washington St (LA 3033) in West Monroe out past 4wd Specialist. I think that place by the mill went out of business.
