I had a friend of a friend ask if a cherokee ECM would work on a wrangler of the same year? I don't know the answer... Does anyone here? Both are 95's. My guess is no?

I can tell you that the spare 4.0 5-speed ECM from a '91 cherokee worked in my '91 4.0 5-speed wrangler... I think if it's the same year/trans/motor you should be fine....

Thanks..That helps... I wouldn't imagine the auto version would be the same? Being a 4sp vs 3...

The only difference between the an auto and manual PCM is the NSS ground. Other than that I've run both tranny types on the same PCM.
