Da gold bar
After many years we finally decided it was time to get rid of our place in goldbar. We had an offer for full price in 2 days and took 2 weeks to close (tomorrow).

So many fond memories there. Both our kids were born living there and watched them grow up.

I forged many friendships along the way there--some are no longer here.

It was a happy/sad day today signing papers...

That's a fast closing. Congrats. Hope you got a premium amount for the old place.

I know the feeling of selling the 'old place'.
Bittersweet and happy at the same time.
But, you'll continue making memories at the new Crash Pad. :cheer:

I am still shocked it sold so fast and the fact its now gone.

So now we are onto as I wanna call it getting ready for retirement, lol.

So our house is like 100 years old and it needs LOTS of work from the floor up. Its been a patchwork of a mess for many years.

So we are looking at a yearish before anything is started and looking at either having the house torn down to studs and rebuilt or a new place brought onto site. We now own the place outright so we have leverage to work with..

Went up north today and looked at a model that we both liked looking at pics and fell in love with it...

That's really cool that you guys have options! Congrats!!!
:cheer:
