engine help

hi i need help on a 22r engine i need someone in the puyallup area to come and look at a engine to see if i can just hone the block or need to rebuild i had a chip in the piston and the ring snaped i have the head off and the oil pan off and piston out but new at engine rebuilding stuff. i have a big rig engine guy at my shop that thinks he has a hone for it but dont have much time or money woth that thought the engine was rebuild 25000 miles ago have paper work for old owner but need help thanks i can send pictures if need but cant really check engine block

you will probably need a square hone to clean them up if you snapped a ring or left a small score
