Actually, maybe it should be a sticky in the trails forum... That way people looking for info about Evan's would know it's closed... Just info about the seasonal closure and width restrictions and then locked...:awesomework:

Theres some big azz signs on the way up there. It was posted in the local paper (enumclaw herald) and it was posted in the federal register as well as being part of and listed in the new forest plan. The FS did everything their legaly required to. It was posted on the bulliton boards as a way of spreading the word to as many people as possible by volunteers trying their best to keep the public informed.

Gate, Not sure if the contractor made it back before the snow fell to deep. Someone on here should know. Enforcement YES Ian (FS LEO) will be monitering the area heavily.

Thanks Corey. I knew the contractor was behind schedual but figure they had to get it done or enforcment would have been a nightmare.
