Evans Creek Restriction Map

While looking for x-mas tree hunting areas, i found a current map of what trails/roads are restricted, where they are restricted, and what they are restricted to.
According to the map, any trail and any road past the campground and day use parking lot are restricted to only 72"!!! from april 1st to dec 15th

This is crazy. My toyota pickup is 76".... uke:

Who has a rig less than 72" wide???

Sami's and CJ's are under that, my last Toyota was 72 on the nose to the outside of the tire.

That is the old width, which was NOT enforced. That current standard is 80", which has been widely talked about on this forum, and others. Just put "Evans Creek" in the search box.

Yep, I have emails from Ian and others in the FS offices up here to verify that it is in fact 80".

IIRC the USFS lists everything Hub to Hub, not outside of tire to outside of tire.

I specifically asked that question, and was replied the 'widest point' of the vehicle. And, now that the gates are set at 80", it's really a moot point.
