maybe they will learn to quit spending billions of dollars trying to help 3rd world countries...

we need to stop trying to be the babysitter for the world.

Did you know that at least on the military side of things all materials that are ordered in support of certain operations humanatarian in this case are assigned a special project code? When all is said and done we then issue the bill to that country. This is to include fuel and all other services provided.

Just saying.

As far as the federal budget goes everytime they place an extension its another 6 billion cut from that time period so you figure ten months would equal 60 billion. That is what the republicans wanted in the first place. I honestly dont think we will have any sort of government shutdown but also don't think we are close to having a FY 11 budget either. I could be wrong though.

I agree, we have enough issues here to take care of, the billions they spend daily just on interest for the debt is outrageous, somebody has to come to their senses before this country is bankrupt, at least people have awoke to the problem, maybe after 2012 we will get some action. :awesomework:

.. and you think that matters?

These **** hole countries that we dump billions of our dollars into cant even afford Top Ramen, let alone pay a "bill"...

According to what I heard this morning 1% of our budget if for aid to other countries.

Don't know how thru this is but if its true its a spit in the bucket compared to what else our government is blowing "our" money on.

These bills are payed over time. Just like we in our current budget plans are still paying for decontamination and disposal of nuclear weapons and reactors in the broke up U.S.S.R. Read into some of this stuff its very informational and interesting.

What your speaking of is actual monies alocated in our budget.

Most of the Humanatarian efforts come from the DOD budget. They are not allocated in any budget and are assigned specific project codes and tac codes for shipment that all corelate to that operation.

Do you mean after the comet cleans Earth's slate?

Or do you mean after we oust the current idiots in favor of the party who's out of control spending and rampant government growth led to where we are today? We started a two front war/ crusade without raising taxes or the institution of the draft. Then came the savage expansion of the size and power of our government through things like the creation of Homeland Security, all while running under the idea that government should be smaller and spend less as billions go overseas to Vietnam 2 and 3.

It always amazes me how blind people can be when they have faith in one particular political party. Like their favorite sports team it can do no wrong. Political Atheism is the key to a prosperous America. 90% of us want the same thing but because of Democrats AND Republicans we are where we are now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You are either a Republican, a Democrat or an American. Pick one because in this day and age you cannot be any two. Not after this last decade's events.

They all lie. Are you a sucker?

It was stated as actual budgeted.

I know nothing about our budget except the waist I hear and see.

So how would an "American" go about changing government? It's a two party government. You need to start changing your party of choice so they pursue ideas/values that you want. Both parties are faulty but can be changed/improved which in turn will change/improve how the gov functions. To say you can only be a Dem, Repub or American is a false choice and should be rejected by people who actually want to change the system. Get involved and change your party.

The two party system is so deeply embeded into our government that I think it would take a complete or near failure of our government and/ or society to chage it.:booo:

Where's Ross Perot these days?:corn:

Agreed. It would be easier to change a party than to get rid of it. THe parties are deeply flawed but it's what we got.

So you can't even get a State Agency to listen to your "wheeler plight" but at the same time you're going change the United States political system?

Ppffttt:haha: I'm speechless......

Oh, and on the subject of our nation's current budget situation yes, I am very concerned. I see the current system of Capitolism failing completely (at least as we know it in the West) in around the next two years. What the tribes left here will decide to replace it with is anybody's guess.

We are borrowing money to pay interest on an escalating principal we cannot begin to pay down. Its over. Printing money constantly, warring with multiple outside nations, stripping the wealth and quality of life of the bulk of it's own citizens, defunding education social programs are all moves of an empire on the brink of collapse. Anyone even mildly read in world history knows what lies ahead for America. Its a no brainer.

I've been buying gold and silver with extra money. No problem blowing the rest of my US Dollars on my buggy build. I have one full year of dried food and emergency rations for my family stored at my Dad's house with all the weapons and ammunition. I even lowered my 401K contributions a bit, though this time around moving into bonds won't help anyone.

I am not affiliated with any political or spiritual association in America. I will not be told how to think, feel, act or vote. As such I am standing well away from the whole situation and analyzing it from the outside with a free and open mind. I know whats most likely coming and I'm preparing.

Donald Trump 2012 If he runs he's got my vote. He will run as a indivudaul from what I have read but that is also hearsay.

Now we're getting somewhere. Where does it say America is only a two party system? It should be a five or six party system. There are more than two emotions for F sake.

And in history how many of those governments were left with "tribes" afterword?......The US has HUGE millitary power. Someone will control that millitary and whoever that is will be the boss. If it weren't for this then another country would take over for us......Any way you look at it there's no tribes unless the failure is world wide......

FY 2011 Budget yet to be approved but most current bill
