Anybody know on the ford 5.0's (95 stang) if you need a voltage drop to the exciter circuit of the alt to get it to charge? All the ones I have done in the past I used a dummy lamp in the circuit like factory does...

Ok--what I was thinking---according to that you need the voltage drop to excite the alt--like the late model chevs. Thanks pat :;
