AREA CLOSURE for PUBLIC SAFETY
OKANOGAN-WENATCHEE NATIONAL FOREST
Pursuant to 36 CFR261.S0(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited on the okancgan-wenatchee National Forest:
1. Togo Into or be upon any area closedfor protection of public health or safety. For the purposes of this order, It Is prohibited to enter or be within NationalForest System lands, roads, or trails within the area of the Cle Elum Ranger District closure area consisting of: Forest Road 3100 west of the Forest Boundary, Forest Road 3120 south of its Junction with Dlvlde JeepTrail, Forest Road 3111 south of its junction with Forest Road 3111-115, Forest Road 3111-117, Frost MountainTrail1366southofFrostMountain,HoytTrail 1345 south of its junction with 3120; Divide Jeep Trai14W311, Manastash LakeTrail 1350, Shoestring Trail 13BS, Manastash Ridge Jeep Trail 4W306 and Manastash Jeep Trail 694 of the Cle Elum Ranger District. Refer to the closure area map as shown InExhibitA.This lncludes all National Forest System (NFSllands as describedbelow:
Any portion of National Forest Lands within Sections 3, 10, 11,12, 13, 14, 24, and 2S of Township 18 North, Range 14 East; Sections 8,10,16,18,19 - 36 ofTownship 18 North, Range 15 East; and SectIons 1- 4 of Township 17 North, Range 15 East with the Cle Elum Ranger District, as shown In ElChlblt A.

This closure Is effective as of August 25,2013 and will remain ineffectuntil terminated.
Pursuant to 36 CFR261.S0(e), the following persons are exempt from this order:
1. Persons with a permit specifically authorizing the otherwise prohibited act or omission, including Washington state employees in performa nee of an offIcial duty and their authorized contracto rs. 2. Any Federal, Stat~ or local offlceror a member of any organized search and rescue, emergency services or firefighting force in the performance of an official dutv. 3. Any private land owner exercising an existing right to access their own private property which Is otherwise within the closureareaas described above.
Thisprohibition Is In addition to the general prohibitions in 36 CFRPart 261, Subpart A.
