the tv cable is non existant. What are most doing about plugging it (rtv?) I'd rather plug it, but Google 85 coming up empty with a cheap fix besides rtv.

Are most also blocking off the vacume port?

Steering isn't complete just mocked up. Just a lil pia with keeping diff cover removable and beef up support for ram mount

Well I had a bunch of chit typed out then my ph died.. here's the short version

First trip out, was having brake issues along with over heating .
The lifter tick I had was turning into a lifter tock! Sounded like a damn cummins on the trail. Overall I was happy besides the mentioned above.

Towards the end off rbd the engine sounded like a faint knock. So that ended the trip.

After starring at the buggy for a wk I decided to tear the engine out to take a look see. ( Im 99% sure the knock was loose tq converter bolts ) and the lifter issues was a sight for sore eyes

Purchased additionally parts to fixr up ( lifters pushrods and random other chit I skipped during re build ) and shortly after I did that I b can across my engine I wanted from the get go. Lq9. Low millage blah blah. So also picked that up...merry Christmas to me. 3 days before xmas we dropped my 6 oh in. Cranked here up and guess what?!?! Sounded perfect! No more lifter bs. Count be more releaved.
Now enough typing here are some pics
