Funny article about ls engines

Long story short: They put everything you could on a stock 4.8L block to intentionally try to destroy it. They ended up not being able to and getting 1200 hp out of it, about 60 pulls at 26 psi boost.

Kind of makes me want to sell my junk and put in a blown 5.3. I would be more than happy with 800 hp to keep it "reliable." :****:

The LS motors are very easy to make big horsepower and cheap

Awesome engines and a awesome tuner. No average tuner would have got that thing to live during that abuse. Friend of mine read that story and did the same set up n a s10 with a 5.3 but just lower boost and it makes 900 hp at the ground. The damn engine cost 700 bucks and had 165, 000 miles on it. That was over. Year ago and the little LS is still rocking out.

Seeing these types of articles makes me still wonder to this day that why n the hell would someone buy a damn ford or dodge. Silly to me
