All too true

Haha. I had a contractor working for me once. He worked out of a lifted, money-is-no-object TJ. He probably had about $5000 worth of brand-name LED's on it. Stock axles, 35's. We had to run to my shop to do a small metal repair to complete his project and he saw my buggy. I hadn't told him about it because, well, it's none of his damn business. He about jizzed himself at first sight but then as he started looking at it he noticed that it didn't have any LED's. He started inquiring why I didn't have LED's. He kept asking about them and fixating on the lack of LED's. He eventually started getting angry at me that I didn't seem to give a **** about LED's. He was throwing brand names at me as suggestions of what I should get, as if it was a foregone conclusion that I now had to get some LED's. He got more and more angry as I only recognized a few of names and models. He was talking about $1000 light bars like that was a good price, meanwhile I was thinking, "MFer, $1000 is 1.5 trashed 44" tires!" He got more and more worked up about it, asking question after question, and I was afraid that he was going to cry or something so I finished up what we had to do and got out of there. The entire rest of the job he was no longer friendly with me, said very little, seemed like his feelings were genuinely hurt ...

... so a couple of weeks later I got some LED's! They were nice, but I never saw him again.

And to tell them to put a jack stand under it so it doesn't crush her legs if/when that jack fails.

I'm not on Facebook but once in a while log on under my sons to look at a local Jeep group on there just to see the stuff for sale. It almost makes me hurt to read posts they make about all the light bars and **** they bolt on and hang off them that will never be used on anything but pavement. There are two from where I work that frequent it and have thousands of dollars in lifts, lights, winches, tires and wheels to do nothing with. One guy traded a probably less than year old 4 door JK for a new 4 door JK Rubicon. Just to fix up and ride on the road. I just don't get it. My Jeep may not have big tires and lights and **** all over it but it gets used like it should. Enjoying the outdoors and trail rides in the woods.

Don't break the lightweight alloy reverse torx bolts.

And then you better hope when you hook the battery cable back up that the instrument cluster still works.
