I've got a 1993 Toyota truck with 22re the gas gauge is stuck on full just looking for some ideas before I pull the tank.

Really easy to test the gauge. Go to the sender and pull the wire. Short it to ground and see if it moves. I forget if open is full or empty or grounded. In any case it should move with it either disconnected or grounded (known as a gauge sweep)

Thanks fellas ill give it a shot not sure what it was but got up for work this morning and it is working I bet the float got stuck

usually no connection = empty, and grounding the gauge wire sends it to full. The higher the resistance, the closer to empty it gets. This way, if the tank sender fails, the gauge usually goes to empty and you get really nervous. When they fail to "full" then either the float is hung up, or there is a knick in the wire going to ground.
