Guy found dead at reiter....Weird story.

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

i think that we should close that area off considering that the gate doesnt stay locekd for very long. every time i had ever gone that way, even in the daytime i got a wierd vibe. too many things are down that cliff. give it the wall trail treatment. maybe put up a cable fence/barrier at the edge of the cliff to prevent this sort of thing from happening again.

The area in question used to be called "the pit-bull graveyard" I dont know if they are still there but if you look around there's about 10 doggy graves with concrete headstones and other such gravesite parephenalia. There's one up to the left as you'r standing looking down the sand dropoff and the rest are around the open area just to the right of the drop. that could explain you'r "wierd vibe"

There's no need to have vehicular acess to this area, there's a bike trail that goes past but it just goes past, and how many dirtbikes are people realy gona dump off the edge there?

Why not just weld a lock cover over the existing lock? I've seen numerous logging roads blocked that would be a absolute nightmare to try and pop the lock. Take a piece of 8 or 10 inch pipe cut it about a foot long, cap one end with steel and slide it over the lock area. Access thru the bottom. Weld it to the existing gate structure/latch/whatever...

You can thank idiots for popping the lock--its supposed to be locked closed. This is the same place we spent a good day trying to recover a # of rigs from over the edge--not a place I would want to go over(just like stuff at rimrock)

Except at Rimrock you have a viable reason for being at the top of nasty rolover opurtunities:D

Hey Mike.

Wana go to Rimrock with us?:D

I um.... "know" people who can pop that in about 10 seconds. All you need is a *&^%%$ and a (*&^^% and you use the *^%&%^$ to (&*^*& the lock and it pops right off.

I was 16 once :booo:

Im still waiting on the detectives that are working the case. i already told a few of you that called me that ill spread word to you guys to let out here to the public.

But a note to those that continue to wheel or **** around at night, be cautious and follow your gut. This was one of the weirdest things that i have happen to me and im afraid of death. it could have been me or nike that night, she could have been hurt bad. Dont be stupid and spread the word to others that dont have internet, not everyone can afford a computer.

Well,

Firstly, it's designed to keep the "marginally" honest people honest. This stuff ain't ever designed to keep the TB-Fs from bein' TB-F'n

Secondly, I've seen a couple of designs that would take a $%^&*( and a !#$%^& and still not be opened.

Thirdly, I've translated your verbage into WINGDINGs font, and I've translated it for those who can't read.

It said "old age and treachery beats youth and strength". What that means?

It sounds like drunk ass hat drove his rig off the embankement and got somebody killed.

No drinking and driving/wheeling. No offroad activities after dark.

As drunk as it sounds like this guy was, he could have driven off of any embankement up there, and if he wasn't at Reiter, would have driven into the back of a parked bus, or who knows what.

Darwin is just doing his job. I say we leave the gate open and put a sign on it, "massive kegger and naked *****es this way, turn lights off or no free beer for you".

hey dont we have a drinking and wheeling thread here some place :corn:

dead guy

So does this have anything to do with Paulie and Nike or was it just some drunk guy that drove off a cliff unrelated? What type of vehicle was he in? What happened to guy in Bronco?

I am willing to bet they are two separate deals

Gold Bar

Camano Island driver identified

A man who died in a Gold Bar truck accident Sunday has been identified by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office as Aaron Stomer.

Stomer, 24, of Camano Island, took his four-wheel-drive truck off-roading in the dark and apparently ran off a cliff in the 43200 block of Reiter Road, said Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Bureau Chief Kevin Prentiss. Stomer was ejected from the vehicle.

Add "no seat belt" to the growing list of stupid **** this guy was up to.

Darwin is my hero.
